Teens above 12 are eligible for COVID-19 vaccination in Singapore. Those below 18 are offered only the Pfizer-BionTech vaccine whereas 18 and above can opt for either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine.
In this #TalkingPointExtra, 15-year-old Lucy Chia (Talking Point presenter Steven Chia’s daughter), takes us through her vaccination journey.
The teenager is afraid of needles and has heard stories of side effects from her friends who were vaccinated earlier. Some of her friends had nausea, fever and sore arm. Lucy films her side effects across the week and dishes out some tips for other teens who’re taking their vaccinations soon.
