On May 19, Tryon Medical Partners hosted “Tryon Talks – Mental Wellness in a Pandemic” on Facebook live. May is Mental Health Awareness Month and there’s no better time to focus on our mental health than during a pandemic that is offering unprecedented stressors. From social distancing and isolation to the anxiety of job instability and simply leaving the house, we are all dealing with overwhelming change.
In this Tryon Talks, we had a socially distant sitdown with two Tryon Medical Partners doctors who are on the front lines of our community’s mental wellness. To find access to all the resources discussed during Tryon Talks, visit https://www.tryonmed.com/mentalhealth/.
Dr. Claire Evans is exclusively taking virtual visits and brought her unique perspective on dealing with mental health concerns while remaining socially distant. A primary health provider who is also board certified in psychiatry, Dr. Robert Brownlee shared his mental health expertise.
